It was raining when I got home so I decided to put my wellies on to go out to the shops. As usual, I was the only person in wellies, despite the heavy rain.
When I got back home I changed into my riding boots. Either I've got one leg fatter than the other, or one boot is smaller around the calf, because one boot is tighter than the other.

I've noticed that, too: you don't seem to see people in the shops in wellies even when it's really slinging it down outside. The last time I saw a lot of people in them was when it snowed heavily.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's because everyone goes to the supermarket in their cars?
Hi Don,
ReplyDeleteI do find it odd that people are so reluctant to wear wellies even in a downpour. OK, I must confess that I drove to the shops but I still decided to put my wellies on before I left the house.
